Connect your coding agent to Scanley
Scanley measures how AI assistants and search answer questions about your organization, and turns the gaps into specific website fixes your team approves. Connect Claude, Claude Code, Codex, Cursor or VS Code once, and your developer’s tool reads the approved fixes, ships them through your own repository, and reports each one back. Scanley then checks the live site itself.
How it works
- Scanley finds what AI search gets wrong or misses about you, and writes each fix as a brief: the page, the exact change, what done looks like.
- A named approver on your team accepts it. Nothing reaches a tool before that.
- Your developer’s coding tool reads the accepted brief, makes the change in your repository, and you deploy as usual.
- The tool reports the pull request and pages changed. Scanley rechecks the live site before the fix reads verified.
An example
Illustrative, not a client’s data. This is what the tool sees and sends back.
Fix: Add the routing number to the contact page (accepted) Pages: /contact, /about/locations Change: Add "Routing number: 000000000" as text under the phone number, and in the Organization structured data. Done when: the number is in the page source a crawler reads. Receipt: PR #212, commit 4f1c2e9, /contact, /about/locations Status: live, waiting for Scanley's site recheck

Try it
- List my accepted Scanley fixes and tell me which pages each one touches.
- Get the brief for the top accepted fix, implement it in this repo, then submit the implementation receipt with the PR link.
- Show me the proposed fixes waiting on my approval and summarize what each one changes.
Or the whole loop, planned first, with nothing changed until you say OK:
List my approved Scanley fixes. Before changing anything, show me a table: fix, pages it touches, what you will change, how you will check it. Wait for my OK. Then make each change in a branch and open a pull request. After I deploy, report each fix to Scanley with the pull request, commit and pages changed, and ask Scanley to recheck the site.
How far it may go
- Read
- See approved fixes, with every page each one touches and what done looks like.
- Implement
- Also report what shipped (the pull request, commit and pages changed) and ask Scanley to recheck the site. The fix then shows as live and waiting for Scanley's check.
- Approve
- Also record your approval decisions on proposed fixes, as you. Offered only if you already approve fixes in Scanley. Give it only to a tool you drive yourself.
The tools: Get company status, List website fixes, Get fix brief, Get approved fix batch, Get verification status, Record approval decision, Submit implementation receipt, Request site recheck, Refresh Google index status.
What it never does
- It never sees conversations, billing, or other companies.
- It never gets access to your site or code from Scanley; it works through the access you already gave it.
- It cannot mark a fix verified. Scanley's own recheck decides that.
- It executes no payments or financial transactions of any kind.
If something stops you
- “That account has no organization access yet”
- You are not a Scanley customer yet, or your team has not added you. Run the free AI scan below, or ask whoever runs Scanley at your company to add you.
- “Coding agents are not switched on”
- Your company uses Scanley, but connections are off. They are off for every company until someone asks. Email hello@meetscanley.com and we switch it on, usually the same day.
- “This connection was revoked”
- Someone disconnected the tool in Scanley. Connect again from your tool.
- “This connection was not granted”
- The tool asked for something above the level you chose. Disconnect and connect again with a higher level.
